Comfort Inn Old Saybrook

The hotel was dirty in the common areas, the breakfast was terrible. They should think about providing some healthy things yogurt,fresh fruit etc.

If you need a place to stay in the area, seek something better. This was just depressing and unfriendly. The desk staff couldn't have cared less. There is no internet, so business travelers are out of luck. I used to live in the area and thought this would be as good as it once was. I was wrong. Overall, I would go to this Comfort Inn again, I felt very at home.

The hotel was below average. The hallways smelled weird. If you had the lights on over the bed you could not use the TV remote. The front desk was very short and snappy when you called them. This hotel is in a good location, right off the highway (95). It was easy to book; the hotel clerk was polite and very accommodating. The room was large and well-equipped. The breakfast room needed more variety of food. ...read more

Served my purposes.

Hotel is in a good location the staff is very rude when asking for a different room. Beds are very uncomfortable. Staff was also argumentative. This was our first vacation in 7 years and I was so discourage from everyone at the hotel. Also check in is at 3:00 pm not 2:00 pm, which way ok with us but they would only believe us when we showed them the paper, which we would not of showed them is they were not so rude.
